Fort Lauderdale SEO Agency

A smaller field than Miami, and most of it is standing still.

Broward County is thirty miles up the coast from Miami-Dade and it behaves like a different market. Fewer businesses chase the same searches, fewer of them have done the technical work properly, and the ones that have are usually the ones sitting at the top.

That gap is the opportunity. A site built correctly in Fort Lauderdale tends to reach a strong position sooner than the same site would in Miami, because there is simply less standing in front of it.

What the search results look like here

Two things happen on most commercial searches. A map box appears at the top with three local businesses in it, and a list of links appears underneath.

They are won differently. The map box is driven by the Google Business Profile, by reviews, and by how close the business is to the person searching. The links underneath are driven by the website and the wider search work. A business can hold one and be missing from the other entirely.

Broward has a wrinkle Miami does not. Proximity carries real weight in the map box, and Broward is spread out. A business on Las Olas is not close to someone searching in Coral Springs, and no amount of work on the website changes that. Which of the two results a business can realistically win depends on where it sits.

What we do

Technical foundation

One address for the site rather than four, a sitemap that exists, structured data that validates, headings in order, images that do not hold the page back on a phone. None of it wins a position on its own. All of it stops a site losing one, and in a market this open it is often the whole difference.

Local visibility

Categories, services, and service areas set properly on the Google Business Profile, business details consistent across the directories search engines cross check, and a review process that actually runs. Reviews weigh heavily on who appears in the map box, and they are the most commonly neglected part of the whole thing.

Content built to answer

Pages written around what people type, in the order they ask it, with the specific figure given rather than described. A page that states the number gets quoted. A page that says it depends does not.

AI search visibility

People increasingly ask ChatGPT and Perplexity which business to use, and those answers name three or four companies. We make a business readable to those systems as well as to Google. That work is set out in full on our AI SEO services page.

Season decides the timing

Demand in Broward rises through the winter and falls over the summer, and that shapes when the work has to happen rather than what the work is.

Search results take months to respond. A page published in November is competing in a season that has already started. The same page published in August has time to be crawled, assessed, and settled before the calls begin.

Which means the quiet months are the ones worth using, and they are usually the months businesses decide to wait.

Where we work

Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas, Downtown, Flagler Village, Victoria Park, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Pompano Beach, Plantation, Sunrise, Hollywood, and Dania Beach.

A good share of the businesses we work with serve both counties. If that is you, it is worth reading the Miami side as well, because the two markets are won separately and a page claiming both usually wins neither.

How we start

With a baseline, not a proposal.

We check the site by hand, set up Search Console if it is not already connected, and record where the business currently stands on the searches that matter to it. That produces a record of the starting position rather than a projection of the finishing one.

Everything after that is measured against it, using Google's own data rather than a tool's estimate. When you ask whether the work is landing, the answer should come from Search Console and the profile's own performance figures, not from a screenshot of a ranking checker.

What we will not tell you

That it will be quick. Technical fixes can register within weeks, but movement on a competitive local term usually takes three to six months, because Google has to recrawl and reassess the site before any of the work counts.

That we can guarantee a position. Nobody can. What can be guaranteed is that the site will be technically sound, the profile complete, and the content built for the searches that actually exist.

That every search is worth chasing. Some terms carry far less demand than they appear to. Part of the job is saying so before the budget goes into them.
